Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP Professinal Plant)
STPP is one of the most important ingredients in detergent powder formulation. Its chemical formula is Na5P3O5.
The preparation process in STPP Professinal Plant is composed of three steps: preparation of phosphoric acid from phosphate rocks, sodium pyrophosphate from neutralization of the acid, and finally the formation of STPP by condensation and polymerization of the sodium pyrophosphate.
STPP can also be used in petroleum, metallurgy, mining, papermaking, water treatment, etc. It is mainly used as the assistant of synthetic detergent, the synergist of soap and the prevention of grease precipitation and frost. It has strong emulsifying effect on lubricating oil and fat, and can be used to adjust pH value of buffer soap. Softener for industrial water. Tanning agents. Dyeing aids. Paint, kaolin, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate and other industries are used as dispersants when preparing suspension. Drilling mud dispersant. The paper industry is used as an oil repellent.
