What Is A Neutral Detergent?

Neutral detergent is a generic term for synthetic detergents that appear neutral at standard usage concentrations. Usually refers to the synthetic detergent used in the kitchen. It refers to detergent with a pH range of 6-8 at a standard use concentration of 25°C. Synthetic detergents such as cloth, silk and wool are neutral. The main raw material of this detergent is a neutral surfactant, accompanied by a builder, which can change the pH within a certain range.

Common laundry detergents are neutral detergents, while soaps, washing powders, etc. are alkaline detergents.
