Species: anionic, cationic, nonionic and zwitterionic, but the surfactants used for washing are mainly anionic and nonionic.
Function: The main components of washing powder are preferentially adsorbed on various interfaces, reducing the surface tension of water, changing the state of the interface of the system, and removing the stain of the clothes.
Features: generally contain hydrophobic groups and hydrophilic groups, emulsification and permeability during the washing process, so that the fatty substances in the clothes enter the water
Application: The most common and traditional anion in surfactants is soap that has been used by humans for hundreds of years (higher fatty acid sodium). The most common use of synthetic detergents is sodium t-sodium benzene sulfonate, and the most widely used nonionic surfactants are polyoxyethylene ethers.
